Shardia Pay for Airwallex — User Guide #
Accept payments in GoHighLevel through your own Airwallex account.
Shardia Pay is built by Shardia Solutions. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Airwallex or HighLevel.
What this app does #
GoHighLevel only supports a handful of payment processors natively — Stripe, PayPal, NMI, Authorize.net, Square, and Razorpay. Airwallex isn’t one of them.
Shardia Pay bridges that gap. Once installed and connected, payments collected anywhere in your GHL sub-account route through your own Airwallex account instead.
Where it works:
- Invoices
- Order forms
- Funnel checkouts
- Calendar bookings that collect payment
- Any GHL form with a payment step
What it handles:
- One-time card payments
- Saved cards for recurring and subscription billing
- Refunds, issued from GHL as normal
- Payment status confirmation back to GHL
What you need before starting #
- An Airwallex account with payment processing approved. You’ll need your own — Shardia Pay connects to your account, it doesn’t provide one.
- Airwallex API credentials — a scoped API key with Payment Acceptance permissions. Create these under Developer → API keys in your Airwallex dashboard.
- A GHL sub-account where you have admin access.
Setup #
Step 1 — Install the app #
Open the install link, choose the sub-account you want to connect, and approve the requested permissions. Shardia Pay only requests access to payments and products — it does not read your contacts, conversations, or any other CRM data.
Step 2 — Start your subscription #
After installing, you’ll be taken to a secure Airwallex-hosted checkout to start your Shardia Pay subscription. Enter your card details there.
Step 3 — Connect your Airwallex account #
In GHL, go to Payments → Integrations → Shardia Pay for Airwallex → Manage Integration.
Enter your Airwallex Client ID and API Key, and choose Test mode or Live mode.
Start in Test mode. Run a few test transactions before switching to Live — this confirms everything is wired correctly before real money moves.
Step 4 — Set Shardia Pay as your payment provider #
Still in Payments → Integrations, set Shardia Pay as the default provider for that sub-account.
Step 5 — Run a test payment #
Create a test invoice or order form and pay it using an Airwallex test card. Confirm the payment appears both in GHL and in your Airwallex dashboard before going live.
Pricing #
$10/month per connected account.
This is the fee for Shardia Pay itself. It’s separate from Airwallex’s own processing fees, which Airwallex charges you directly under your own merchant agreement — Shardia Pay takes no cut of your transactions.
Billing is handled through Airwallex and starts after your trial period ends. Cancel any time by uninstalling the app; that stops future billing immediately.
Refunds and cancellation #
Cancelling Shardia Pay: uninstall the app from your GHL sub-account. Your subscription cancels automatically. You keep access through the end of the current billing period.
Refunding a customer: issue refunds from GHL exactly as you normally would. Shardia Pay passes the refund through to Airwallex automatically.
Problem with a charge? Contact support (below) within 7 days and we’ll sort it out — refund or fix, whichever makes sense. We’d much rather hear from you directly than have you dispute a charge with your bank.
Current limitations #
Being straight with you about what this does and doesn’t do today:
- Card payments only. Airwallex supports many local and alternative payment methods (bank transfers, regional wallets); Shardia Pay’s checkout currently handles cards. More methods may come later.
- Payouts stay in Airwallex. Use your Airwallex dashboard to see when funds land in your bank account, request payouts, and manage settlement. Shardia Pay handles collecting payments, not what happens afterward.
- Disputes are your responsibility. If a customer disputes a charge, you’ll handle the response through Airwallex. Shardia Pay flags disputes but doesn’t respond to them for you. Airwallex has deadlines on dispute responses — miss one and the dispute is automatically lost.
Troubleshooting #
Payments failing with an authorization error Your Airwallex API key is probably in the wrong mode. A Live-mode key won’t work against Airwallex’s sandbox, and vice versa. Check that the mode selected in Manage Integration matches the key you created.
The integration doesn’t appear under Payments → Integrations Confirm the app installed successfully on the correct sub-account. Reinstalling usually fixes this.
A payment succeeded in Airwallex but GHL shows it as pending GHL confirms payment status by querying Shardia Pay. Give it a moment — if it doesn’t resolve within a few minutes, contact support with the transaction ID.
Customers can’t complete checkout Confirm your Airwallex account is approved for live transactions and that the currency you’re charging in is enabled on your account.
Support #
Email: [REPLACE WITH YOUR REAL SUPPORT EMAIL]
We aim to respond within 24 hours.
When reporting a payment issue, include:
- Your GHL sub-account name
- The transaction or invoice ID
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Whether you’re in Test or Live mode
Beta notice #
Shardia Pay is currently in beta with a small group of agencies. It works, but it’s new — expect the occasional rough edge, and please report anything that looks wrong rather than working around it.
A practical suggestion for beta: route a portion of your payment volume through Shardia Pay at first rather than switching everything over on day one. This isn’t a lack of confidence in the app — it’s just sound practice when adopting any new payment infrastructure, and it means no single issue can affect your entire revenue stream while we’re still ironing things out.
